Check out i24 Call Management Solutions. Their WOW program was the leading class before COVID; not only did they suddenly keep WOW “alive” when they had to go remote in March 2020, they ensured it would “thrive” by intentionally iterating it ever since.
Perhaps the best part is that they didn’t do this to win an external “war for talent.” Sure, they’re better able to navigate the #talentshortage with a strong cultural foundation of appreciation; however, it stemmed from a belief, at a cellular level, that great people deserve to know they are…well, great!
Believe people will do great things, and they will prove you right.

Making Great Even Greater (Or WOWer!)
So, curious about what they have planned? I was honoured to join rockstars from i24 last month to 2.0 in their recognition strategy. I have goosebumps at what we discovered and created together!
Here’s a cool next step they’ve decided to take immediate action on: incorporating compliment cards into their internal WOW program.
We had such a blast with the English and French FROG Tributes that they thought, why not keep it going day-to-day? And since they’re still a remote workforce, the high-resolution images of the FROG Tributes were the ideal way to keep that going.
Check out the pics that represent attributes of i24 rockstars. Wouldn’t YOU love to get a compliment through your internal messaging app, in a text, attached to an email? Compliments are easy to incorporate into our daily work, but how often do we do so? I’m so inspired that i24 has found an easy way for their busy coworkers and leaders to do just that!
And that’s only the beginning.
What can you take away from the i24 approach to recognition? Continually be hungry for new ideas and make micro tweaks to keep recognition alive. Small shifts reinvigorate an already great program. Don’t lose sight of recognition so that you keep this key cultural anchor strong.
