2022 Focus: The Year of the Employee Experience
The biggest impact you can make in 2022 is to put all your chips on “employee”.
It’s a safe bet.
If you haven’t got them, you can’t deliver. If they’re unhappy, they’re not giving their best. If they’re being bullied or treated badly, they’re so busy protesting, they can’t perform. If they don’t trust, they hold back. And most of all, if they’re not satisfied they won’t act as your army of recruiters bringing you more talented employees. Create an employee experience to retain your best!
Recent research reveals that employees are now considered the most important stakeholder to a company’s long-term success. Investors and consumers are increasingly taking notice of how well organizations treat their employees. The 2020 Edelman Trust Barometer Special Report found that 69% of investors have greater trust in companies that prioritize their commitment to employees, and 90% of consumers say that the way companies treat their employees impacts their brand loyalty.
Innovation, reputation, profits, performance, and all of the business drivers on a balanced scorecard are inexplicably tied to attracting, retaining, and accelerating the performance of employees and leaders.
Elevating the employee experience needs to be 2022’s primary goal.
